Poteau Child Development Center

This 15,600 SF Child Development Center, located in Poteau, OK, contains six classrooms in two wings, with the ability to expand on one of the wings. The building design includes a childcare facility for before and after school programs for the children of Poteau. Also included in the design are multiple daycare rooms with restrooms, a nursery room, administration offices, a multipurpose dining / safe room, a food service area, a laundry room, and an outside playground area. The exterior consists of wood siding and manufactured stone veneer to coordinate with other buildings on the campus. The Poteau Child Development Center is the most recent project designed by CHAHTA architecture (formerly EOTS) and is also the first to be built as the new prototype for The Choctaw Nation’s Child Development Centers.
