Bethel Head Start

Our Choctaw Nation Head Start Facilities are designed to include a childcare and learning facility as an after school program for each town/location listed. Many of these were designed from a prototype and then modified to fit the needs of the community and students

The 15,600 SF Head Start Facility in Bethel, OK consists of three classrooms with restrooms, administration offices, a multipurpose dining/safe room, food service area, laundry room, and an outside patio and playground area. The back side of the site had a steep drop in terrain and required substantial backfill that gradually sloped to create a suitable location for construction and a retention area for rain water. This Head Start facility serves both cities of Bethel and Battiest, Oklahoma.
